As a devotee of my pod machine I always struggled with the problem of disposing and recycling my pods ethically.
I tried a few different companies, with recycled or recyclable pods; but they all fell short on the flavour front
I like a coffee I can smell across the room as the hot water hits it... I can honestly say that Podlife have ticked all the boxes for me. Quick delivery, good packaging and most importantly great coffee. I especially like the Sydney.
Rhodes has an odd flavour for me, one I need to get used to. But I have peace of mind knowing we are saving the planet. I would like to try other flavours too.
Sydney blend has the smooth and bold intensity I wanted.
After comparing other biodegradable brands Pod Life is my top choice.
Unfortunately all the pods make watery coffee. I even tried 2 different coffee makers.
So happy to find a safe environmentally friendly pod with great coffee
Pods did not work in my Nespresso machine. More water ended up outside the cup than through the pod, either on the counter or in the waste receptacle. When it did work, the coffee was insipid (Sydney).
Love this coffee so much! Also love that I can compost the pods! Perfect !
Very happy with my purchase of pod life coffee. Good value , awesome taste and great to have compostable pods, not to mention caffeine free as well ๐๐๐
I really wanted these pods to be the answer - Such a great environmental initiative by this company. Unfortunately, they dont work well with my nespresso latissima machine (water leaks). When I swap back in an aluminium pod machine works fine again. Flavour of 'Sydney' is OK- not the strongest, but I would have stuck with it if not for the problem with compatibility

Love that it is recyclable and easy to extract the grounds for composting.
I tried 4 different coffee varieties and wonโt be buying any of them again. The flavour is just ok, not very full bodied.
Love these pods, smooth flavour, good strength, not bitter, my new favourite by far...
The pods arrived quickly but the packet expired two days after purchase. No response from an email to customer service after a week. Very disappointing.
I mainly bought these pods because I saw they were compostable. The image in the site shows pods that look similar to previous home compostable pods Iโve used before. The pods I got were not that, rather industrially compostable only pods that are entirely different to the ones in the photo. Pretty annoyed about that.
Coffee tastes fine if you donโt care about the plastic waste.
This is a nice, smooth roast and one that I am happy to report is not bitter. It's a little gentler than most coffee flavours, which is why I don't mind it. And it's environmentally friendly with the biodegradable pods, so that's a win-win situation.
The perfect blend for an Iced Latte!! The little bit of extra bitterness breaks through the milk to help create the perfect Iced latte everytime!
Best pod coffee Iโve ever had. Tastes so gooood. Smells great. And itโs eco friendly. Love them all. Rhodes my fave!! Love the fact that itโs organic!!
Look I'm not much of a coffee with milk guy as I really think a great coffee can only be judged by tasting it black, but this has all the elements to make it a superior milky moment. It's strong, it's bitter ... exactly what you need to add an alkaline to and get the best pH balance to your taste buds. If you're not at the stage of 'once you go black you can't go back', then this is the pod for you ... Drink it in!
